Shock of the New is a BBC series on art movements. This is the surrealism episode….
I think the video explains itself pretty well, except for the “postmodern fairy tale” title perhaps. I consider it my second official G-rated Shock Value video. There’s more truth behind the story than you’d think. It’s actually based on a true story, although liberties are taken here and there. When you get old, you realize that high school and college tests aren’t so much about information as they are about pride. So I’m hoping my video will remind stressed kids with ambition that this kind of college test thing isn’t going to define them. I also think it might somewhere provide a bit of helpful strategic information that somebody needs to know. Consider this video as a successful title defense of my LSD world championship. I think some people on drugs were mad at my other video, and I’m sure they’ll be mad at this one as well. They’re mad that I’m their champion even though I don’t do drugs. But my advice stays consistent. Avoid drugs and sex until at least five years after marriage. On March 2nd, 2010, not long after uploading this video, I barged into a drug testing facility and demanded to be tested. After paying the facility its fee, I found out I was clean. It’s nice to be able to take a test I do well on for a change. No mediocre scores there. Again, the song I used is that really old Mysterious Moon public domain song I’ve been using in my other videos. There’s a website address in one of those.
