Enamel paints are household and automobile paints that are formulated to be very fluid. They are typically opaque and rich in pigment, since they are designed to cover a surface in a single coat of paint. Enamels can use an array of different binders that include alkyd (a modified linseed oil), acrylic, latex, and oil. Abstract Expressionist artists such as Jackson Pollock and Willem de Kooning were among the first to regularly use enamel paints in making works of art. Artiste peintre plasticien né à Metz en 1973, Lepolsk MATUSZEWSKI est passionné par le dessin et la peinture depuis l’âge de 6 ans. Le dessin est déjà une passion dès 1979 (première peinture gestuelle), et consacre la majorité de son enfance à l’illustration et la sculpture, puis s’oriente vers les arts plastiques. En 1992, le peintre met de côté la peinture gestuelle et offre une démarche innovante, à l’antipode de l’art abstrait, baptisé « INNABSTRAIT » et joue avec les densités en combinant, avec des matériaux naturels, une lumière très forte et des ombres très foncées. L’association « Ombre et Lumière » devient indissociable voir énigmatique baptisée Miroirs,Asylum et Ignis Anima. Lepolsk crée la série de tableaux “FUSION” 18 ans plus tard, une rencontre entre la peinture et la matière.
