essai et réponse ( www.youtube.com ) sur la distinction entre primitivisme et anti-civilisation. Pas de montage, quelques répétitions et égarements… Grossièrement je distingue : 1.les primitiviste idéologique qui assume la théorie radicale d’abolition de toutes les techniques (styles Zerzan) tout en reconnaissant l’existence de certains primitivistes qui ne prétendent que s’inspirer des “primitifs” (j’indique que par ailleurs ce terme pose un problème épistémologique et politique). 2.De l’autre les anti-civilisations qui ne veulent pas se défaire de toutes les techniques, mais uniquement de celles qu’ils considèrent comme mauvaise et qui sont dans la civilisation. 3.On peur remarquer que la posture primitiviste est affirmative (elle propose), tandis que la posture anti-civilisationelle est réactionnaire (elle critique). Cela ne signifie pas que l’une soit meilleure que l’autre. Si l’on en reste sur ces distinctions je me considère pas comme primitiviste, et pas non plus comme anti-civilisation. Non pas que je ne partage pas leurs critiques, mais je refuse de mis contenir. Les livres montrés : John Zerzan – “aux sources de l’aliénation” ; Theodor J. layla.miltsov.org John Zerzan is one of the most interesting contemporary thinkers in the United States, at least. Like everything else in life, in order to fully appreciate Zerzan’s contribution to epistemology or the philosophy of civilisation, first, one has to read his work and hear his conferences — for, here, I only present my personal interpretation of his theory — and second, consider the context through which his voice and energy resonate. His contribution becomes even more impressive in light of the processes of Western institutionalisation of Thought and commodification of Knowledge — a totalitarian context that tolerates no challenge (philosophical or otherwise) that would threaten “the American way of life”.
