  6. great painting. but your taste in music sucks! if one could call that music at all.

  7. This was AWESOME! Was the final painting what you had in mind all along or did the image in your mind change a bit as you went along?

  8. @StaceyTroubleClarke Thank you so much for your kind words! Because of the amount of layering and details I put in a piece, they tend to take some time. I am glad you were able to use this video as a learning tool. It is one of the main reasons I post them. Thanks again and happy painting!

  9. You just taught me a very important lesson; when I think my paintings are finished they aren’t. I do all my paintings in 7 hours, maybe if I spent longer on them then they would be as wonderul as yours. I’ve always wanted to paint like you and now I can see how it’s done. Thank you for posting this. Great work

  10. I like the tool for your shoulder! And the image!

  11. @madsis6 Thank you! Yes, I reverse painted them.

  12. You are an awesome artist! did you free hand all those stars?

  13. if i could make a painting like this, i ‘d never sell it less than a million dolar…

  14. @charleeinwonderland Thanks! That is always a goal! Thanks for watching!

  15. just when i thought it looked finished, she made it look better!

  16. @Atheist555 Haahaa! No, not too scary!

Thanks! Yes, I had the total time on my newest one too, but something squirrely happened when it uploaded to YT.

  17. This nite mare isn’t very scary (that’s in uh sarcastica font) =p
Cool demo, I like that it was lapsed enough to be condensed but yet we can still watch you work. Def’ cool, I like that you put the total time to complete, I think peeps don’t realize how long even acrylic pieces take to complete.

  18. @AmyKollarAnderson ok :)
    i was just being naughty
    good luck

  19. @samridawaser Thanks for the compliments. Nah, I would rather see the art than little ole me. Got another in the works…still no me. :)

  20. a very valuable determination :)

    that was great art ..

how come you are not in the camera, we need to see your smile :)

  21. I like to reverse paint the stars because I can create a varied background, then use a more constant color to make the space around the stars. This makes the stars look more varied, is easier than painting each one differently, and gives a cool effect. The shine is mostly titanium white, but I go back and forth with the lights and darks to make the objects behind the glass look like they are being viewed through the reflection. Thank you so much!!! Let me know if you have any other questions.

  22. I have some questions, how come you painted the purple stars around the tree, instead of painting them first then the tree overtop? also how did you make the shine on the glass, I could watch this video all day i think your art is by far my fave thing ive come across in years on deviantart! im obsessed!!!

  23. Haahaa! Sweet!

  24. Thank you so much!

  25. Sounds like a good one!
