  1. Awesome like all of his other work. If Tim says this one is an abstract, hey i believe him.

  2. cute. the bird is kind of ………smiling or is overheated..hee hee. Very nice job as usual.

  3. Clouds are so hard to paint, they’re always on the move! lol, nice job!

  4. Very nice!

You have so many pieces here! – All are so cool!!
I’m going through art school right now – and making daily vids throughout the process – keep up the vids man!

  5. Amazin!

  6. So talented, with an appreciation for the abstract qualities in cloudscapes. Unfortunate choice to then put in the bird and branch. What was interesting before was instantly rendered sentimental and trite. Scale and context might have been rendered with brushwork, in a tension between the infinite sky and the surface of the paint on the canvas.
I do appreciate his incredible creativity in rendering the process in time lapse, so much process condensed. Brilliant idea and a service! Thank you!

  7. nice clouds keep it up

  8. you’re not alone xD clouds are one of the most dificult thing to replicate if it’s not THE most dificult thing to get .

  9. i love it! clouds are difficult for me so i enjoy seeing them painted live. good job!

  10. LUCKY i suck at painting clouds. what kind of brush is best for them?

  11. I like this painting very much – good work!

  12. I dont like how the bird is like …. smiling

  13. and impressionism isnt abstraction (it is abstract with the break in traditional painting at that time) but its isnt abstraction

  14. and for early twentieth century art, check out fauvism, cubism, russian expressionism.

  15. To take away; remove.
    2. To remove without permission; filch.
    3. To consider without reference to a particular example or object

  16. 1. Considered apart from concrete existence: an abstract concept.
    2. Not applied or practical; theoretical. See Synonyms at theoretical.
    3. Difficult to understand; abstruse

  17. and some one said that it is abstract and it something apart from reality. but this isnt anything apart from reality, its like a photograph. people please trust me i do know what im talking about

  18. but thats just it. this guy didnt do that. if he removed it then i should see the exact shape of a bird, or a branch or what have you.

  19. again it isnt abstract. go find a book with early 20th century abstract sense its no different to abstract now.

  20. I like it

  21. well it is true that that might have worked as abstract, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that option was the only way. He could have simplified the bird for example.

  22. Haha. You paint like me. I always get in trouble because I start with the darkest colour first. Also, your black bird looked heaps better as just outlines with the scrappy black inside. Would have been slightly more abstracted that way as well. Still, its pretty cool.

  23. wow dude
    trippy music and trippy art
    sweet

  24. Abstract is anything apart from reality, you dont neccisarily have to distort something to make it abstract, just paint it differently than you would if you were trying to make a “scientifically correct” image. lol.

  25. nice
    Thanks
