Learn How to Paint Abstract Painting with Acrylics by Peter Dranitsin at petesoriginalart.com ORIGINAL ART IS NECESSARY FOR GOOD TASTE You’ve been a collector of posters and prints for a long time. Now you are ready to dive into the world of original art. Scary, isn’t it? How you go about doing it will make all the difference, never fear. Since nearly the whole artistic world is online, the surest and safest way to begin your research on what you want to purchase is to browse online galleries. Any artist worth clicking on will have a well-set-up online gallery, explanations of himself and his artistic vision on the very first page. You read about the artist’s background and methods, seeing for yourself whether you agree with his techniques and finished results. You surf the Web some more, and come back to a few favorite sites. Then, you consider your price outline and the purposes of buying original art: is it to be for your personal space in your home, the common area in your home, your office where colleagues will no doubt see it and learn about your taste from your choice or, more difficult perhaps than these options, is it to be a gift for a family member, colleague or institution? Will your choice reflect your intimate knowledge of the happy receiver of your largesse? Take a deep breath, now. It’s not going to be insurmountable! @22moodindigo you are too kind
@missmary012 I have previously wet the canvas surface before I began to paint thanks for asking
at 0:26 how did you get the brown to drip down like that??
Peter’s paintings are amazing…..just when u think he is nearly finished, he adds more color..!!…..then works more magic !!
wow…you make it look so easy and beautiful. People all my life have said I have a gift in drawing etc. yet I never honed it or took it seriously. It’s one of those ‘to do” when I retire disciplines, if still alive. However, coming across your channel may help change my mind on the timing…TYVM.. this is our friend and we have many of her painting wwwDOTabstractartduskDOTcom

@Mariontl Thank you for your comment!
@ValePCD Yes I do. I actually wet the canvas first before I apply paint to it.
do you mix the acrylic with some water?
Amazing what you have created with just a sponge as your painting tool ! Very nice ! I never thought about wearing gloves when I paint but it might be a good idea, as the last painting I did I ended up with thick paint all over my nails and hands. I am just starting to get into abstract painting, – last one started out realistic, wasn’t working, so decided to have fun and scraped off some paint, threw more on, used a spray bottle, and created good results I am pleased with. Thanks for sharing.
Nice technique and elements 9 out of 10
i love watching other people’s styles because i always end up learning something, so thank you.

@anna12910 good question thank you for asking! you are absolutely right I just go with the flow and make up things as I go
wow, this is great. so question, do you think out everything brfore you do it? like, when you painted the blue all over the left of the bottle, did you know you’d be covering it later? or do you just kinda paint as you go and change it as you feel.
