Jackson Pollock Abstract Art Drip Painting

Watch one of my Pollock inspired abstract drip paintings being created. Large works of art are great fun but need concentration. The soundtrack is provided by Basement Jaxx. See the finished painting in all it’s detail on my website.

Not really that well to be honest. They won’t flow very well and they will dry too quickly unless you add an extending medium to them. You can start with oil based household paints and go from there really! Hope that helps..
Would acrylic paint work for this type of thing
Hey, thanks for the comment! Awesome! It depends – sometimes I have to let certain applications cure before I move on and sometimes I don’t – it all depends on what kind of paint effect I am trying to achieve.
This is super great! You are the definitely the next Jackson Pollock!
Just a question… do you wait for say the initials drips to dry before applying another color or is this really continuous? thanks!

Thanks man – really appreciate your comments….
this takes serious talent pollock is not so easy to mimic as people think but this comes pretty close
Hey Dave. I used mainly oil-based glosses on this one but normally I find that industrial grade enamels work best, dosed with some cellulose thinners where needed.
What kind of paint do you use for something like this?
he was good artist his art owned i think
@panamanubian Hey. I don’t use brushes. I used oil-based gloss paints. Types ‘Swarez’ into Google and check out my website. You can see details of the painting and how it was made on there. Cheers, Swarez.
@TheSwarez Im starting painting classes here in Panama city, Panama, and I will like to know what type of brush and painting are you using.
Thankyou very much, really appreciate your feedback!
wow! looks just like a Pollock!
Thanks for that – there is more planned for the future definitely.

Yes, I think you should have used techno – popcorn remix. Suits the art
He he, glad it got you dancing! Thanks very much for your comments, they are very much appreciated.
Great artwork but the soundtrack got me dancing around the living room and forgot you actually wanted me to spend some money! Perhaps next time… Keep up the awesome art, OK?
