   H.R. Giger is what Hell Raiser movie series wanted to become, and what Aeon Flux failed to achieve; as the dark side of science fiction of very advance technology is also time & space and dimension influences beyond our ordinary senses into other realms of existence. We watch those movies Hell Raiser and Aeon Flux and always we are stuck with the childish fantasy of good & evil; when in DNA and technology dimension manipulation we moved beyond the ordinary, and it is pure horror for us.

   H.R. Giger, we see plays on names, such as geiger counter (nuclear warfare, death, and other evil meanings of technology); we also see H.P. Lovecraft influences, and we see space age influence, and we see a total love of darkness just like Stephen King. The organic science fiction has been seen in the Chronicles of Riddick where the mysteries of DNA has been cracked, and human society is different as organic merges with technology: We see influences into that as well. Some Dune, not much.

    I whould rather be in Tim Burtons head than Giger’s because Tim Burton atleast retains a child-like fantasy as surreal as it is in his work. Giger creativity is just pure technological, evil, surreal, nightmarish horror, out of the darkst corners of the most advanced mind.
