curiousmoth’s Painting
here’s the NEW painting i did for curiousmoth. video of mousehusic’s and debbieomi’s paintings to follow tomorrow. theirs are on the 9×12″ canvases, but the one i did that size for CM kinda got ruined, and the only other small canvas i had to hand was a round one. the video doesn’t do the painting justice, its really cool. once they are all dry i’ll show the finished results in a roundup video. congrats to all 3 winners. Ominous Voice, bewarethelizards42, your goodies are en route, GG, i’ll be posting yours monday first class. **audio vibes by Ozric Tentacles “shaping the pelm”

Bad-ass!
I’ve been trying hard to paint like you do and so far all I can do is drip the paint on the paper, brush it one way with a big brush and then the other way with a little brush.
I keep watching your painting videos to see if I can do more like you.
After watching you do a couple of paintings, I really want to see you apply the same principles to food. If you can render something like this in, say, a pizza, or even sushi or something, you should totally make a video of it.
thanks, some of my larger paintings look even more like a mandala.
they’re good to trip on, anyway
Reminds me of a Mondala – i hope i spelled that right.
4:49 — That is so cool!
Very pretty, I love watching you paint
Good job, mate.
Very nice!
I do to. I know a guy that puts glaze on these wonderful 12′ paintings of victorian era works he does and when the light hits them you can’t see the paintings and it ruins them, although they are spectacular. Once i mentioned that to him and he just got so smoldering and hot under the collar, i am sometimes a little vexed to give my opinion or ask, but im glad to be able to ask you questions so easily.
This is really beautiful! I would love to see this done with the primitive part of the rainbow
yeah, i almost always put a coat of clear over the top to protect the painting from chipping and also the colours from changing due to oxidation.
When this drys will you matt it or glaze it?
cool!
Ah, Ozric Tentacles, brings back psychedelic memories
Cool painting!
Yaaaay ^^; It’s lovely!
Thanks Gothatfunk~
WOW. That is so super great! I liked the painting before the “big finish”, but after you did those curves that painting went to another dimension
Way too cool, you are a pure genius
Can you post that with high resolution image on somewhere?
Way cool man.
Awsome painting this time too.
Have you ever tried limiting your colour pallete? I think with your particular style some dual colour compositions would look awsome.
this was so relaxing to watch. : )
you have some great talent gothatfunk,
If mine is half that good, I will be ecstatic! Who am I kidding? I’m already ecstatic and would be even if I’d won a stick figure drawing from you.
))
Hi there GTF ! I am just as curious as
(Ic237)…What do you use for your inspiration? Is it in fact the person themselves, incense, music, mood etc..
This one was by far one of my fav’s! You are one talented man. Please stop by my channel one day. I only have one measley video up ( my very first) but I will be posting more hopefully soon ! Keep up the magnificent art! ~Namaste~
WOOT for painting on unglazed stoneware.
